Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA) is one of the important ethylene copolymers. EVA is made by copolymerization of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA), with a content of approximately 5% -40% (wt%) of vinyl acetate (VA).
These two component ratios can be called to meet different application needs. Among them, the higher the content of VA is, the transparency, softness, toughness and adhesion of the material will be relatively improved, which can be used as adhesive, coating, coating, or made into EVA foam. The decrease in VA content results in materials approaching the performance of polyethylene, increasing rigidity, wear resistance, electrical insulation, and improved impact strength.
