C5 Hydrocarbon Resin
C5 hydrocarbon resin is also known as C5 petroleum resin, has occupied an important position as a viscosity increasing resin. The most commonly used ones are hot melt adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive, and rubber tires. Petroleum resin is a petroleum resin suitable for hot melt adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive, and rubber tires. They have good compatibility with styrene polymers such as SIS, SBS, SEBS, SEPS, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and EVA, as well as natural tackifying resins (terpenes, rosin, and their derivatives), and have varying degrees of improvement in the various properties of adhesives. In recent years, petroleum resin has gradually replaced natural viscosity increasing resins in its prominent position due to its high peel bonding strength, fast adhesion, stable bonding performance, moderate melt viscosity, good heat resistance, good compatibility with polymer matrices, and low price.
